My Way (Plan B) Emergency Contraceptive
- EC gives a woman one last chance to prevent a pregnancy she is not ready for. A pill of synthetic progestin is taken up to five days of unprotected sex to prevent pregnancy. The sooner it is taken, the better it works.
- EC won’t work if a woman is already pregnant.
