THE COST OF YOUR EXAM, ANY LAB WORK AND MEDICATIONS!

There are a variety of programs we can help you qualify for on the spot if you bring the
following items to your appointment:

  • Proof of income - if you work (2-3 pay stubs) or letter from your employer about
    your pay. If you don't work we will document this at your appointment.
  • Photo ID - Texas driver's license or other ID
    It you do not have all of the listed documents come anyway; you will be seen.

Family Planning Program

The Texas State Family Planning Program is for males and females who:

  • Live in Texas (does not have to be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident)
  • Are age 64 and younger, and
  • Meet household income requirements. (see table)

To apply, please bring:

  • Proof of income
  • Photo ID that shows you live in Texas
  • Proof of US citizenship permanent residency such as U.S. passport, birth certificate or permanent resident card, social security information for you and your children if available.

Title X Program

The Title X Program is for males and females who:

  • Are age 64 and younger
  • Meet the household income requirements. (see table)

It is helpful if you bring:

  • Proof of income
  • Photo ID that shows you live in Texas
  • Proof of US citizenship permanent residency such as U.S. passport, birth certificate or permanent resident card, social security information for you and your children if available.

If your income is higher, you will be charged on a sliding scaled based on family size and income.

Healthy Texas Women is for females who:

  • Ages 1 to 44 years old (15-17 years olds must have their parent apply for them),
  • U.S. citizens or eligible immigrants,
  • Living in Texas,
  • Are not pregnant, and
  • Meet household income requirements (see table)

To apply for Healthy Texas Women, you must bring each of the following to the clinic:

  • Proof of income
  • Photo ID that shows you live in Texas
  • Proof of US citizenship permanent residency such as U.S. passport, birth certificate or permanent resident card, social security information for you and your children if available.

For patients who pay cash, WAMHS' prices for exams, lab work and medications are very reasonable, and you can make payment arrangements if necessary.

Medicaid, managed Medicaid companies (such as Driscoll or Superior) and private insurance (Humana, Aetna, Cigna and BCBS Insurance) also accepted.
